DESCRIPTION
Immature rudimental biased Default Mode Network with internal configurations that are non-adaptive and biased in respect to occurring conditions generate mismatch between executive network of occurrences and the default mode network of internal representations thus increasing free energy explaining why personality disorders typically have also accompanying depression
-----------------IMAGING------------------
Lifelong assessments of Default Mode Network graphs should be collected to identify small-world network disturbances and biases. These inevitably increase mismatch (free energy) between the Default Mode network and the central executive network of external representations. Experience-dependent plasticity interventions (psychotherapy-like) together with increased plasticity can have network developing beneficial effect
-----------------TREATMENT---------------
Traditionally psychotherapy and symptomatic medications Serotonin Specific Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRI’s) and Anxiolytics are administrated. There is an important value for plasticity induction combination with psychotherapy (which is actually Experience-dependent-plasticity induction). Thus consider alternative (enhancing) neuronal-plasticity induction using cortical transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) transcranial Direct Current Stimulation tDCS, transcranial random Direct Current Stimulation trDCS. Additionally, consider personalized Virtual-Reality (VR) psychotherapy. Use any intervention that will enhance Small World Network maturation.
